Cast to your TV

You can put a class on the big screen straight from the web player. Casting buttons appear in the player controls when your browser and device support them.
Steps
- Make sure your TV, Chromecast, or Apple TV is on the same wifi network as the device you are watching on.
- Open the class and select Press Play.
- Look in the player controls for the cast icon or the AirPlay icon.
- Select it and pick your TV from the list.
- Control playback from the browser as normal. Selecting the icon again stops casting.
Good to know
- The buttons only show when the browser reports that it can cast. AirPlay tends to appear in Safari on Apple devices, and the Google Cast button in browsers that support Chromecast. If you do not see an icon, that browser cannot cast, and that is expected.
- Trying another browser on the same device is the quickest workaround when the icon is missing.
- A wired option works too. Connecting a laptop to a TV with an HDMI cable plays the class on the TV with nothing else to set up.
- Both devices need to be on the same network. Guest networks and work networks often block casting.
- Streaming works in any modern web browser on a laptop, phone, tablet, or TV, so casting is one option among several.
