Personal notes and comments

Updated

There are two ways to write something on a class. A note is private and only you ever see it. A comment is public and appears under the class for other members.

Steps

  1. Open a class page.
  2. To write a private note, select Add note. Type your note and select Save note.
  3. Once you have saved one, the button reads Edit note. Open it again to change the text and save, or select Delete note to remove it.
  4. To comment publicly, scroll to the comments below the class and post there.
  5. Find all your notes in one place from the avatar menu, under My Spot then Notes. Each one links back to its class.

Good to know

  • You can also open your note from the paused screen while a class is playing, which is handy for jotting down weights or settings mid-workout.
  • Notes are private. They are never shown to other members, to trainers, or on the class page.
  • There is one note per class, and it can be up to 10,000 characters, so there is plenty of room for setup, weights, or how it felt.
  • Comments can be up to 5,000 characters, and you can edit or delete your own at any time.
  • Replies go one level deep, so a conversation stays readable.
  • Comments show your public display name and photo only. Your email address is never shown.
  • Comments are listed newest first.
  • When someone replies to your comment you get a notification in the app, which you can turn off under Account then Notifications.
